Cohort Model

Project-based training for schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and government agencies

Transformative Cohort-Model Training

Invest in a comprehensive learning experience for a small group of your staff and/or stakeholders. Learn from the Monarch community (including lived-experience experts) and other cohort members, while reflecting on your own strengths and experiences.

During the cohort training, teams create a manageable, impactful project designed to better serve children and families experiencing homelessness in your context. We intentionally support the creation of projects that are measurable, mission-aligned, strengths-based, and mindful of existing resources and capacity.

An Integrated Program

Ideal for bringing 3-5 people* from your team, we recommend bringing a mixture of leaders with decision-making power and ground-level staff, who interact with clients daily.

Our cohort training spans about six months and includes:

    • Asynchronous courses on our four core approaches: strengths-based, restorative, relationship-centered, and trauma-informed.

    • Our content is modular, and the schedule can be adapted to meet your needs (e.g., 2 days in person and 2 days virtual, one day a week for four weeks, etc.)

    • We support you through project implementation with planning tools, troubleshooting, accountability, and a culminating celebration.

    • Includes quick, downloadable resources you can use right away, like a checklist of best practices for engaging with unhoused parents and caregivers

*We can accommodate teams of 2. If you would like to attend as an individual, please contact us directly to explore options.
